Thing is, Moe, there is no ‘Scottish accent’ any more than there’s a unique accent in America,  or England, or France or Spain, or Germany, or any other Western country. (I’d need to ask my daughter-in-law about Japanese.) Ultimately, it’s what the characters say that matters, and how well it’s understood.
