That’s nice of you. You’re more clever than I am; I rarely know what’s going to happen till I get there. Tell me, which do you prefer, England or Arkansas?

Edinburgh will always be my place of birth, which I love dearly NO other city has the history and character of Edinburgh.

However giving up my life as a teacher in Boston Spa near Wetherby to live in Arkansas with my husband and two daughters is not something I every dreamed off.

Life in Bentonville is good, we life in the town which is the home to the Walmart Corporation so we are not in the red neck part of Arkansas. However the two parts meet often, you only have to travel to the local Walmart or make a trip to the Demolition Derby or Monster Trucks to meet the real people of Arkansas. The gun culture here is huge. You can go to the shooting range and use automatic weapons without showing any form of I.D.

My girls have got use to having police officers on the school campus and lock down drills for attacks. We have also adapted to the different types of weather a thunderstorm in Arkansas is lots of thunder and fork lightning lasting hours. We also life in an area that gets lots of tornados, we are starting to get use to spending hours in a cupboard.

I ama so glad you are about to publish another book in the Skinner series, I am just reading “a rush of Blood” and I felt it was like saying goodbye to an old friend. I am flying back to Edinburgh in a few weeks, so looking forward to the Witchery and Tour, Carlton Hill, Castle and some shopping.

Keep up the good work love Bob Skinner.
