Oh Canada
They tell me that The Loner is due for release in Canadian bookstores this week, with the mass market version following in August. I’m pleased, for I’m a regular visitor to that friendly and civilised nation, and hope to be heading there again in the not too distant. Globe and Mail readers should keep their eyes open for a QJ presence in the next couple of weeks, under the auspices of my good friends Martin Levin and Jack Kirchhoff.

WIll you be in Victoria or Vancouver?
More likely to be Ontario next time up, Mike. I was at the Vancouver Festival October last year. Fourth trip there and I still haven’t made it to the island.
We’re based in BC now…..Victoria in the summer and Rossland (ski resort) in the winter….let us know your next visit to the west and we can show you a good pub!
Will do; it would be good to meet up again. Likewise, if you ever go touring in Scotland and Spain, let me know.
Just finished The Loner – damn good read – not quite Skinner but very close – an intreging read with many a turn and twist. Keep up the good work supplying me with my fix – very addictive. Will you be in Toronto at all in your upcoming visit to Canada?
