I’ve grown old pointing out that the existence of a province wide police force in Ontario does not preclude the existence of other, smaller forces.

    I based my comment on this passage from page 14 of the Headline paperback edition “Ontario’s another good comparison: bigger than us, but with a single police force.”

    If I erred in my interpretation of this sentence, perhaps it’s because English is my second language and at times I don’t appreciate all the nuances of the written word.
