Another TV puzzler. Where do Holby City patients acquire their amazing recuperative powers?
No matter how complicated the surgery, they are always back on the ward within an hour or two, sitting up in bed and chatting as if nothing had happened. The concept of Intensive Care does not seem to exist.

It must be the same magic that enables people in fights to suffer dreadful injuries, and yet then being able to get up and run after their attackers, climb fences etc. and still carry on with some physical activity, shooting, arresting and so forth. I sometimes wonder if writers (and I am not including you in this as you have more sense) and film producers have ever been hurt and suffered pain.
