A wheel too far

A tour guide told me today that Copenhagen is on course to meet its net carbon neutrality target by next year. If its cycle friendly policy is a by product they can stick it where the sun doesn’t shine.

Let’s have a pedestrian friendly policy first. In the Danish capital I feel much more at risk from bikes than cars.

I can’t believe the ending of the latest Bob Skinner book! What a cliffhanger to leave for probably 12 months until the next book!! Last year I thought the series had finished after the futuristic epilogue until you told ne not, then you leave an ending like that in this year’s book! Fantastic read though, it’s like settling down with an old friend. Long may he return and thank you for introducing him.

I feel like Sarah- a whole 12 months. At 84 my time is limited.

At 79, so is mine. John’s life expectancy is the issue though. The ending was almost completely unplanned. I love it when that happens. Years ago I killed a character I really liked, someone I had built up and put in a good place. Until he walked into that room I had no idea he was going to die. But he had to. The book was Death’s Door, btw.
