The Fever

I’m thinking about coming back early from Spain in October. Why? Because Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes are playing the Ferry in Glasgow on October 14. Best live band I’ve ever seen; okay, it was thirty-five years ago, and some of the personnel may have changed/died/gone to jail during that time, but I reckon that I’ve improved with age since then, so why shouldn’t they?

Man oh man, I love Southside Johnny! Introduced via Bruce Springsteen about 25 years ago, and I never looked back. Come back early QJ, and revel!

Not really introduced via . . . They were contemporaries in the same area. First broke in the UK touring as support to Graham Parker, who should have known better ‘cos they blew him away.

Hmm, no… what I really mean by that is that I got very into Bruce Springsteen and because of him I began to check out his contemporaries and other bands with the same ‘Jersey’ sound, and I remember he mentioned Southside Johnny in an interview.

Can you tell me if your books will be available in electronic form? I would like to download some to my Kobo.

Thank you for that. I thought they were all available as e-books on the Chapters Indigo site, but they’re not. I will make enquiries.
