just finished “For The Death Of Me” (read all the Skinners and Primaveras but wasn’t happy about an earlier Oz, but if no more Jardines it’s back to Oz)
find it hard to believe that it was the end of the Oz Blackstone series and three years later Primavera turns up and Oz is dead … who, what, where, why, how?
was Jardine just tired of the character?
Oz passed away off set. QJ doesn’t like people who address him by his surname. It makes him refer to himself int he 3rd person and that pisses him off ever more.
when last in London, last month, picked up the latest Skinner whom I far prefer to Oz and Company! Even if his latent anti-Americanism makes me grit my teeth at times. Please keep Skinner in your repetoir(sp?) Edinburgh never fails to enchant and his companions do the same! Please don’t go BACK-he has a lot of future in him! (witness Greivous Angel-0kay but not the Skinner we’ve grown to love.)
Bob has a significant future but also a past; even if you don’t want to know about it, I do, and I’m sort of in charge. Extra ‘e’ in repertoire last time I looked. Where the hell did you get this latency nonsense from? Absolutely untrue. Two of his kids are half American.
