It’s all I can do to wait for the latest “instalment(print). TV would probably mess him up something fierce. I refer to what our TV has done to Kathy Reich!
No, it’s Kathy Reichs. I hear what you say about Patricia Cornwell, but there are significant differences. PC’s books are built around a forensic pathologist, while KR’s protagonist is a forensic anthropologist. While PC is not herself a pathologist, any more than I’m actually a cop, a journalist, or a woman, KR is a global authority in her character’s field and is a consultant to the FBI, among others.
As for the TV treatment of Tempe Brennan, I haven’t seen much of it, but from the little I have, I agree with you.
When can we expect to see a televised version of your Bob Skinner stories?
I gave up expectations of telly a long time back. We’er working on it, but that’s all I can tell you for now.

Or –is it Patricia Cornwell-they’re eerily alike.
