Thanks for that, Marlene. I have no plans to quit, honest. I’ve never been to Calgary; that’s a matter of great regret, and one I hope to put right one day.

Can’t recommend the view from Sulphur Mountain and then a drink at the Banff Springs Hotel highly enough within Banff national park. Possibly the only views in Canada to match the beauty of Vancouver and the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler.
Like the rest of Canada, they love meeting Scots and steak at The Keg is fabulous.
For a different dining experience try Banff Grizzly House and ”exotic fondue” of rattlesnake, alligator and other usual suspects.
Always entertaining when the waiters try to explain where Angus beef comes from.
Cheers Eddie; I’ll go for the views. I eat very little red meat these days, and I’ll pass on the ‘gator and snake. I’m sure they’ll be able to fix me up with a nice piece of fish, tho’. Next time you go to Vancouver, do not miss the Sandbar, on Granville Island.
I’ll certainly give that a whirl, thanks.
