Breach of privacy

I’d like all my friends, Facebook and otherwise, to note that I dissociate myself completely from all material on the page under my name in Wikipedia, and on the Facebook community page which has been created automatically by material copied from that page, without any reference to me or without permission having been given by me.

This insidious new Facebook practice, which is being permitted by Wikipedia, is in my eyes a serious breach of privacy and potentially of copyright. The following link explains what they’re doing.

How could we not know that with the “social” media, we were all out there in cyberspace-often unknowing and more often that not, unwanting? I used to joke with one of my grandsons that the internet was evil but I’m beginning to think I was right. Tho I DO appreciate the media’s communication ability. Where does this un-accountability lead???

There are some fundamental human rights, and among them is privacy, but these do not seem to matter to the boy Zuckenthing, or to Jimmy Wales, I’m afraid.

In my book it puts them in the same boat as the detestable Julian Assange, currently voluntarily incarcerated in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London. Having found out that he is not above the law, Mr Assange’s last resort is to hide from it.

BTW I couldn’t find your “community” page on Facebook-I haven’t mastered the social media, I guess, and probably never will!

Also, the Assange s, and Zuchenbergs ae a generation removed from such “right’s as privacy. They seem unable to find their own identities so have no respect for other’s.
