Here I go again

Hope you had a good flight; Girona flights turn over the Med and fly directly above where I live but that’s a detail. There are still lots of school-age children from northern Europe here just now (North Catalunya, i.e. Roussillon), most are Dutch, German and Scandinavian but there are quite a few Brits too. I don’t know how it works and, from experience, I know (knew) that it is extremely difficult to get your child off school during the week, even for a funeral; marriages in the close family don’t (didn’t) count at all. I suppose everybody has the “appropriate excuse.” In any case, seen from my side of the Pyrénées, you should have blue sky and sunshine today. Relax and enjoy it, what could be better?
Would the far-away one be a metaphorical one? If it is, may it stay on the horizon.
No, it was physical, but now we have a Tramuntana, and it has been blown away.
Thanks Fergus. From where I’m sitting (my office) I can see two clouds, but one is very far away.
