I have to give all credit to Lee Child. He has the priceless gift of keeping the reader engaged, and that’s what it’s all about. I’m halfway through the new Reacher, and last night I only put it down because I couldn’t focus on the page any longer.

And I never thought of Tom Cruise; not once.

    You almost convince me I am missing something in not reading Childs but… Not quite. The thought of Cruise alone turns me off . By the way, a very happy New Year and many great ones ahead!

    I have no wish to do that, Pat. LC can do his own marketing. For the record, when I read Reacher I’m seeing Nick Nolte, in 48 Hours.

      Did’nt mean to imply coercion. Your own enthusiasm seemed compelling. Canno t share it forNick, but since I don’t know Jack Reacher maybe he’d work.
