A quote this morning from David Moyes: ‘You don’t just suddenly change things around.’

Oh yes you do, David. In your case you took a  side that won the Premier League last season by nine points, and you turned it into a mid-table outfit. How? By tactical ineptitude, and by excising the pace and width from the team. Another quote, from the usually reticent Paul Scholes: ‘United are nothing without pace, and there’s no pace there.’

Are you still going on about Moyes? United were pretty good the other night, they were the better team for most of the game. 3 – 0 flattered City. Fellaini is nearly back to his best, and until he ran out of steam, he had the better of Toure.

Sorry, I forgot, I’m restricted to one word answers:

    Patience.

Anyway, if you get independence, Moyes will be deported.

    Impatient.

Six years of Moyes and United will be playing Salford City in the third tier. The man is not a winner, it’s as simple as that.

3 — 0 after ten minutes wouldn’t have flattered City. As for Fellaini, 1) his best for Everton was within 30 yards of the opposition goal, but Moyes is trying to play him as a holding midfielder 2) he was chasing Toure’s shadow all night in the game I saw, 3) £27m worth of footballer shouldn’t run out of steam.
