Congratulations Young Frank! X
Hi Quintin, being a recent convert to your fiction, thanks for your sterling research and stories. However, as the parent of 3 children, 2 of whom are adopted, can I ask why you differentiate between Bob Skinner’ s children and continually refer to Mark as his adopted son. When you have natural and adopted children, there is no such differentiation in your mind or heart. They are your children and all are equal in the family. Would you consider simply referring to Mark as his elder son? Thanks for all the hard work.
I know that, Edwin, and so does Bob. Read the series in its entirety and you’ll find that Bob makes no distinctions. However, for new readers, I need to explain how Mark fits into the family history, Bob has four children by three different women. (Actually it’s five by four, but let’s not go there.) That’s not quite in the Ray Charles league (he had twelve by ten) but the relationships do need spelling out.
Cheers, Tio! (and, for the record, I’m only 35 on the outside…)
Me too.
