Another one bites the dust
Excellent night in Dalgety Bay. Thanks to everyone who came along for making it so enjoyable for me. I hope it was for you too.
I hope you all enjoyed filling in the Scottish Book Trust questionnaire. Having glanced at it I’m struggling to see why the SBT needs to know whether event attendees are ‘Gay, Heterosexual/Straight, Bisexual, Lesbian,’ or even ‘Other, please describe’, and what Goddamn business it is of theirs.
As for the section ‘Gender. Male ⃞ Female ⃞ Other _________’, well, words just fail me.

I guess I am out of the loop I am at least one or two books behind…. I am reading funeral note, but I am reading it after I have read pray for the dying, thought I had read funeral note but realized have not….so now I need to get House of Darkness… when does a Hint of Death come out for purchase online….
That would be ‘Hour of Darkness’. ‘A Hint of Death’ is available now in ebook form.
Your reaction to the question of sexual orientation is, I believe, quite right. Such questions make one wonder just what kind of behaviour is expected at the event. Chastity belts and black tie do?
Where I work you also have the option of Transgender Man and Transgender Woman. Oddly enough, competency isn’t high on the organisational agenda.
Gender: How about neuter?
By the way, happy Saint Andrew’s day to you and yours.
Thank you very much.
