Resurrection?
People keep saying to me that I should bring back Oz Blackstone. I keep saying to them that he’s dead, but they don’t seem to believe me.
So, on the basis that anything’s possible in my world, let’s have a vote on it. Reply ‘Yes’ to this post if you’d like to hear more from the sociopathic egomaniac. Retweeting or sharing on Facebook would help me get a handle on it also.

If you don’t bring Oz back you could bring Primavera back instead

We don’t need another Bobby Ewing but we really want Bob Skinner back best books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Thanks to my good friend Eugenie for recommending them.

Yes -I thought that it is just a matter of time – with him backing Jonny – or am I playing off the wrong tee?
You’re put of bounds.

Just to be difficult, no. Bring his kids back.
I agree with Tam Martin can we have another Bob Skinner soon please as Hour of darkness has left us in suspense, not knowing whether he will be the Head of the Scottish Police or going to stay in Spain.
Keep up. April 9.
A big yes, speaking on behalf of your many fans in South Africa.
It would be good but we can’t always play God.
We can’t ever play God, but when you do what I do, god is possible.
Are we likely to see any of your books appearing in movie or Tv projects in the foreseeable future?
Yes bring him back and give Prim a kick up the backside 😉
completely agree – not keen on Prim but loved Oz and Susie
I have grown to like Prim she is doing well looking after the children – know its just fiction but jardine &co. Has taken me through very sad times I look forward to any new story either Skinner or Blackstone all welcome
I would love to see Bob Skinner & his team on the small screen and I sure there are many excellent scottish actors to play the parts I would only hope that if this should happen that
unlike so many they would stay with the original plot & not change it to much as has been the case with many others.
definately yes.

Am I not allowed to leave any negative comments on Bob Skinner on your site then? I was not abusive or rude about him but i felt I made a valid point.
I thought that you believed in free speech?
I’m not always positive about Skinner myself, but he’s my mate.
You don’t class your comments as abusive or rude? Seriously? Well tough, for I do, with the addition of offensive and aggressive, and as moderator of this blog I’m not having them. BTW why assume I believe in free speech? That which is free, as in free of consequence, is too easily taken for granted.
Well, as you say it’s your blog so you can clearly say what you want and refuse to publish what I say at your own whims.
Absolutely the case, John.
There’s a guy in Scotland who got himself a PhD on Tartan Noir. You seem to be after the same on Skinner.
For the record, I note what you say, and respect your right to say it (even if most of it is rubbish) … but not on this blog. Yes, it’s an open forum but there are limits. Please don’t imagine that you can wave the ‘freedom of speech’ flag and assume that I’m going to devote unlimited chunks of my private life to debating with you.
And this too. Surely it’s inherent to the concept of freedom of speech that the speaker identifies himself? Yet you hide behind a disposable email address and maybe also behind an assumed name. Fact is, in all my rapidly extending life I have only ever met two men named John Smith, and one of them died in 1994.
Thank you most sincerely, whoever you are,for the time you’ve spent reading my work, but I’m tired, I’m on holiday and this has gone far enough.
Yes Please!!
Yes please, I’d equally be happy with more Primavera. We visit Sant Marti most years and love reading about it in those books.
