I’d like to blame it on Trump, but these guys were arseholes before he arrived.

This is completely off subject or maybe not. These people, among others, suffered, died, overcame and survived to make America what it is today. Somebody seems to be forgetting or ignoring history. It’s been done before…
I hear what you say, but those people didn’t do all that so their descendants could drink beer all day, then verbally and racially abuse 🏌 golfers.
Nor, I suspect, would you ever have seen Sister Rosetta standing by the 18th green at Scottsdale necking Coors straight from the can.
No they didn’t, of course they didn’t (and I’m already ashamed to have written “these people,”). The message is HOPE and I wonder where it’s gone and if there’s anyone left to listen. Football doesn’t come out with flying colours but I’m very surprised that golf, which is an activity, a sport, an art and a state of mind (all of these mixed together depending on who you are and why/how you want to play) has attracted this sort of thing. Big money probably. There was none of that on Bruntsfield or Leith links – pitch and putt and mind the pooh. Oh, for goodness sake!
