Secret no longer
Great day in our house; ‘State Secrets’, the 28th Bob Skinner mystery, is published, officially, in hardback, trade paperback, and ebook formats.
Happy to say it’s flying off the shelf and melting the Internet.

Looking forward to reading it. Thanks again.
When is 29 due for release? It’s two per annum now isn’t it?
Next year some time. Timing of 30 and thereafter still to be determined, but I will not commit to two a year any longer.
I’ve had it on on order at the library for weeks. Hoping I’m somewhere near the top of the list
I’ve bought the ebook version. Just got to finish the one I’m reading and then I can’t wait to get stuck into your latest Skinner escapade. Keep ’em coming !!

Yay! Can’t wait to read the latest Bob Skinner. I will be bereft when he finally leaves us…
Many thanks Quintin, for this latest book; he is one of my all-time favourites, along with all his companions, & the background details.
You’ll be bereft? So will my wife, for I have no plans to stop.
Thanks Quintin…brilliant news (sorry about your wife😉).
Good morning
State Secrets is so so good!!
Please settle an argument between brother and sister without spoiling the plot for others
Is there a fact dislosed regarding a female at the start not previously known.
Gillian
Since I have no idea what you mean, the answer must be no.
Good morning
I will be direct.
We were not aware that”Amanda Dennis” was black
Gillian
Me neither, until then.
any plans for book signings?
Sorry, much as I’d like to circumstances dictate otherwise.
Seems nonsensical to say this but with libraries closing I don’t read as much as I used to as have to buy most books now.
Despite being a fan of Scots detective fiction I don’t think I’ve read any of your books. An error I’m rectifying as I type. Apologies.
Just started reading State Secrets and it’s an amusing start. I’m going to ask Baron Pilmar of Powderhall if he knows who did it when I see him at the football on Sunday! !
Hopefully it will come as a complete surprise.
