It’s not
I have begun to rewatch, not for the first time, my all time favourite TV show, The Newsroom, starring Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer, Sam Waterstones, and Dev Patel. If it has a fault it lies in Aaron Sorkin’s tendency to cram too many words into a broadcast minute, but every one makes sense so that’s okay.

I still remember the episode in which several of the team, certainly Don and maybe Sloan engage their mobile phones too early for the FA’s liking. They soon reveal the death of Bin Laden to the passengers of this NY bound flight. I wondered at the time if New Yorkers were that happy, whether vengeance was was just then given a quick whitewashing for the righteously aggrieved, or whether this was a plot device simply employed to delineate or argue for the value and honor of the media.
And yes, I, too, love that show.
I really enjoyed the newsroom as well! To the point i have the theme as my ringtone.
I also think Jeff Daniels is excellent in the looming tower!
Would you ever consider doing any book tours in England?
Great show; pity it only lasted 3 seasons much like his time on the West Wing. I wish there had been more Studio 60. Now that he’s moved into film, I doubt we’ll ever see him do another tv series.
