Logone
Lured by the impending end of ‘Succession’, and to fill the space between episodes, I have been revisiting the first season, in which I never quite invested at the outset. If the makers get the ending right it may well go down as an all-time great series, up there with ‘Breaking Bad’, and the sadly neglected ‘Homicide: life on the streets’.
My big fear, though, is that I might turn into Logan Roy.

Thank you for your comment. My son (20) gave me a recommendation for this but his age appropriate advice can be iffy. Showing my age, I can attest to watching Homicide during its first play in the US and I have been singing its praises ever since. Following David Simon led to wonderful tales through the years; Homicide, the subway epi with D’Onofrio and Braugher and The Wire, Stringer Bell’s saga and of course that of Omar. Actors from those series keep popping up elsewhere with strong performances. Who knew Braugher could pull off a comedic role on a sitcom?
Anyway, long/short – I will give Succession a go.
