Zuckerberg just wants to ingratiate himself with Trump by kissing his boots in order to avoid regulation while Musk is looking for government largesse to boost Tesla and Space X. I see Steve Bannon going after Musk on behalf of the MAGA crowd. Trump appears to be giving precedence to the high tech sycophants than his own cabinet choices. Zuckerberg can dissemble all he wants but social media is crippling a whole generation of young people by dumbing them down as well as impairing their mental health and undermining democracy by inflaming division.
