Dear Quintin, while I was on vacation in L’Escala, I found one of your novels (“Blood Red”) in an abandoned box full of books. I admit I’d never heard of your name before, but I was curious that it was set in this area of ​​the Costa Brava. I’ve started reading it and am hooked on the plot. This morning, I even went for a coffee at the Terrassa de l’Empordà bar, imagining Primavera walking those streets and you perhaps sitting in L’Esculapi having a drink.
I want to thank you for the pleasant surprise of discovering (more than a decade later) your series of books set in L’Empordà. These few days I have left renting in L’Escala (although I often come here from Barcelona, ​​where I live), have made me see these landscapes through different eyes, thanks to your book. I hope one day we’ll meet in L’Escala and I can congratulate you in person.
