The U.S. is becoming a banana republic under Donald Trump. Selective prosecutions dictated by the dear leader is very unAmerican as I understand the intent of the founding fathers of the U.S. constitution. The U.S. Congressional Republicans now resemble the Russian Duma and Trump is using the Putin playbook to assume greater powers and silence anyone who disagrees with him. Trump is a disgrace to democracy and has no understanding of how checks and balances are the foundation of American governance.
