Lunch in the sun
The weather did us a favour on Boxing Day, December 26. It let us have lunch in the sun in St Marti, in La Terrassa d’Empuries, run by our friends Cisco and Loli. By the way, Primavera’s house, if it existed, would be on the gap site beside the church.

Why oh why do people have this irresistible urge to tell you they are enjoying sunshine when you are at home freezing your …….off (if you had any). Just super envious.
It’s not all wine and calçots.
We too are suffering England’s worst. However I am informed that at home in Javea Christmas day was so foggy they couldn’t see across the street. Still wish we were there. Soon, though.
I have never managed to find calcots around Javea – haw do you cook them?
