Something I didn’t know until I became in a debate with my friend Pat Wright on the merits of Nicolas Cage: he is not the only acting Coppola to effect a career name change. Who is the other? Answers please, via Comments.

    Just looked it up-Talia Shire, oppola’s daughter.

    Looking it up is not really allowed, but having done so, there is no excuse for imagining that Francis Ford Coppola, remarkable as he is, could have sired Talia Rose Coppola when he was only six years old. She is, in fact, his sister.

    At my age, looking it up is the only recourse-memory is not that reliable. Sorry about that-it said she was his sister but I just made the mistake. Besides, you, too, must have looked it up!!!
