An interesting analysis, and well worth a read.

Great analysis with no clear answers. The Party is not the GOP I grew up with, concerned almost solely with personal, individual incentive and effort and conser ving some basic ideas of the Constitution. The Supremes have tampered enough with the document and the courts have played hell with some of its basic tenets as to leave a few of us with not a lot of string! Society no longer has a united view of what “it” believes or is willing to pay-die-for. Do know we can’t spend our way to prosperity -OR to some moral imperatives which is where we are right now, it seems. Back to basics, maybe??? BTW, I think Rubio might be the future of our party tho’ wish it didn’t depend of the whole issue of immigration and had a litttle more dedication to the Ryan political and fiscal imperatives.
