Who are you, then?

Encountered this guy this morning on a terrace in the Palau de Casavells. Very small and very shy. I’m not sure whether he’s a chick or an adult from a mini owl species. If anyone knows, please enlighten me.

    How about a Common Scops Owl (also Eurasian Scops Owl)? The habitat and location fits. If it is, this would be an adult bird.

    Forgot to say “what a good photo,” you could win competitions with that. Shy, yes, because, like the stars and dentures, they only come out at night.
