Of interest?

This is good, very good. Like a question in an exam asking you to “describe nothing” and if you think about it you can, of course you can, everybody’s nothing will be different and interesting in its own way. This seems to be about your blog if I’m not mistaken and the answer of course is yes and no. It is interesting, I wouldn’t be here at all if wasn’t, however, I’m not able to express a valid opinion on some of the subjects (don’t live in Scotland any more), others are personal and there’s nothing else to say really. What makes it a bit difficult I suppose is that there’s rarely enough feedback to get a discussion going. Everything’s ephemeral, here now gone tomorrow and nobody has anything to say about whatever it is for more than about ten minutes. Alas, alas. Looking forward to no. 26 AND don’t know if you can post these music links, this is where it comes from and it isn’t going away any time soon. Like you I hope.

If I say so? No, I’m not saying or suggesting anything, I’m just responding to a header that you may have posted just to see if you get a reaction. Well, you got one from me because the words are a challenge, very existential but maybe I’ve missed the point

What point? All I posted was a link to a piece on the Crime Files blog and a heading that asked a simple question? Good to hear from you anyway and thanks for the music, including the young Aretha (then merely the Princess of Soul?) sat on teh front row listening politely to Champion Jack. In return:

Nice, love it. Didn’t see the link and became bewildered, dazed and confused maybe. Stories to tell though; As “social secretary,” I booked the 75 Blues Legends tour at my University and Champion Jack was on the bill, tragically, he was unable to attend for “health reasons” and was replaced by his piano roadie who played very well but I regret not being able to meet the man himself.
